Perhaps more exciting in theory than in execution, Lucious Jackson made bubbly sometimes infectious pop with slight hip-hop trappings. Thoroughly underwhelming live and unfortunately tainted by being Ethan Hawke's favorite band when people still cared, they really had a few songs that were quite lovely.

I like their cover of "Let it Snow." But only in an ironic, "I-really-hate-The-Gap" sorta way.

OK, I confess. I like it clean & bereft of irony. I hereby turn in my hipster credentials...
