I See by Your Outfit That You Are a Cowboy
(Don't worry this picture will only make sense to my sister.)

The Contrast Podcast sailed without me this week. What I had planned to put up is this song from my childhood. To put it in context,
until my sister was a teenager, the only non-classical music I heard growing up was Sgt. Pepper, Wednesday Morning 3 a.m., Pete Seeger's Songs of Struggle and Protest, and The Wandering Folk Song by Sam Hinton. From this last album (which has one of the ugliest covers ever) comes "When I Walked Out on the Streets of Laredo," which certainly could be a credible contender for "the most miserable song ever."
